Brightening Angelica Face Moisturiser

The pigment in our skin, known as melanin, is produced by the tyrosinase enzyme found in a special group of cells in our skin, melanocytes.

Occasionally, a group of melanocytes up-regulate their tyrosinase activity to produce more melanin than normal in different locations of the skin, causing dark spots and uneven skintone.

Some factors that causing abnormal up-regulation of tyrosinase activity are (1) UV-Damage, (2) Hormonal Changes (3) Inflammation and Oxidative Damage.

Brightening Angelica uses four different actives to reduce melanin production and brighten
the skin:

Angelica extract,which contains imperatorin, which reduces the
amount of tyrosinase present in melanocytes

Arbutin, which inhibits tyrosinase to prevent it producing melanin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B), which stops melanin from transferring from melanocyte to keratinocytes (upper skin cells).

Vitamin C, which reduces inflammation and oxidative damage

Noticeable improvements can be seen within weeks, with optimal results in 2 - 8 weeks of consistent use.

Yes, our formula is dermatologically tested to ensure compatibility with various skin types, including sensitive skin.

For the best results, use after cleansing and follow with sunscreen during the day for added protection.

You may use Brightening Angelica in combination with toner, essences, serums or sunblock. Toner, essences and serums are to be applied prior to Brightening Angelica, sunblock to be applied after.

You may alternate Brightening Angelica with other moistisers (e.g. one in the day and the other in the night).

Brightening Angelica does not have added SPF.

With daily use, a 30g bottle is expected to last a month and a 50g jar is expected to last 1.5-2 months.

Product should be use within 6 months of opening.
